Ummeed Housing Finance has raised $10 million (₹72 crore) in its latest round of funding, bringing on board global investor LGT Impact.
Existing backer Lok Capital also participated in the investment round.
IndusLaw advised Ummeed and the team was led by Partner Avimukt Dar along with Principal Associate Jinni Sinha, Senior Associate Chitvan Bakshi and Associate Vishakha Sharma.
Tatva Legal acted for LGT Impact with a team led by Partner Bhargava KS.
Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas advised Lok Capital. The team included Partner Amit Khansaheb.
Post the closure of the latest round of equity financing, the firm has raised an estimated ₹135 crore in funding across three rounds. The Gurgaon-headquartered affordable housing finance company caters to the informal and low-income segment.
Ummeed will use a portion of the proceeds to further build its technology platform and complete the second phase of its mobility offering.
