On 17-9-2025, in a Full Court meeting, the Chief of India B.R. Gavai and the Judges of the Supreme Court designated the following former Chief Justice/ Judges of the High Courts as Senior Advocates with effect from 17-9-2025:
1- Justice D. Krishna Kumar, former Chief Justice, High Court of Manipur
2- Justice Attau Rahman Masoodi, former Judge, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
3- Justice Avinash Gharote, former Judge, High Court of Bombay
4- Justice G. Ilangovan, former Judge, Madras High Court
5- Justice Jitendra Kumar Chauhan, former Judge, High Court of Punjab and Haryana
6- Justice R. Subramanian, former Judge, Madras High Court
7- Justice Virendra Gyansingh Bisht, former Judge, High Court of Bombay.
