The Supreme Court Collegium convened and took key decisions regarding judicial appointments and confirmations in several High Courts across the country.
In a significant development, the Collegium has recommended the elevation of the following advocates as Judges of the Bombay High Court:

Advocate Sushil Manohar Ghodeswar
In a separate resolution, the Collegium approved the appointment of Shri Vimal Kumar Yadav, a judicial officer, as a Judge of the Delhi High Court.
Further, the Collegium has confirmed the appointments of the following Additional Judges as Permanent Judges of the Andhra Pradesh High Court:

In the Chhattisgarh High Court, Justice Ravindra Kumar Agrawal, presently serving as an Additional Judge, has been recommended for confirmation as a Permanent Judge.
Similarly, the Collegium has cleared the names of Justice Partha Sarathi Sen and Justice Apurba Sinha Ray for permanent positions in the Calcutta High Court.
Moreover, the Collegium has also proposed a fresh one-year extension for the following Additional Judges of the Calcutta High Court:
