The Central Government of India has assented for the appointment of Shri Justice Manmohan, senior-most puisne Judge of Delhi High Court, to be the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court.
The notification issued by the Law Ministry has notified that “In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Manmohan, Judge, Delhi High Court, to be the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.”
