April 8, 2019: Lok Adalats are the most valuable helping hand for the judicial machinery of India. The data shows that the Lok Adalats have disposed cases in crores in recent past.
Government has submitted a reply in the Parliament in response to questions raised by MP Shri Asaduddin Owaisi.
The reply shows that a total 7,81,84,525 cases were taken up in the National Lok Adalat organized during the period of 2016 – 2018(June) and 4,09,35,185 have been disposed of. For the same period, a total 1,70,60,679 cases were take up in regular Lok Adalats and 1,08,13,538 were disposed of.
