The Chief Justice of Delhi High Court will administer the oath of office as Judges of Delhi High Court of four newly apponited judges as mentioned below on 28th February-
1- Ms. Neena Bansal Krishna,
2- Shri Dinesh Kumar Sharma,
3- Shri Anoop Kumar Mendizatta,
4- Shri Sudhir Kumar Jain
The notification issued by Delhi High Court states that,
"Ms. Neena Bansal Krishna, Shri Dinesh Kumar Sharma, Shri Anoop Kumar Mendizatta, and Shri Sudhir Kumar Jain will be administered oath of office as Judges of this Court on 28 February, 2022 at 10:00 AM. by Hon'ble the Chief Justice in "Court No.1". Hon'ble Judges are requested to kindly assemble in Larger Chamber of Hon'ble the Chief Justice in robes at 9:45 A.M. and to grace the occasion."
Ministry of Law and Justice has also issued notification regarding the appointment of these four judges by stating that,
"In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (1) Smt. Neena Bansal Krishna, S/Shri (2) Dinesh Kumar Sharma (3) Anoop Kumar Mendiratta and (4) Sudhir Kumar Jain, to be Judges of the Delhi High Court, in that order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices."
About the Judges-
- Neena Bansal Krishna presently being the Principal District and Sessions Judge at Saket (South East) District Court.
- Dinesh Kumar Sharma was currently serving as the District and sessions judge of the New Delhi District Court. Sharma earlier also served as Registrar General of Delhi High Court from May 1, 2017, to January 6, 2020.
- Anoop Kumar Mendiratta was currently deputed as the Law Secretary of India. Before posting on central deputation as Union Law Secretary, he was serving as the District and sessions judge of the North-East Delhi District Court. Also in his earlier deputation, he had served as Principal Secretary Law Department with the Government of Delhi.
- Sudhir Kumar Jain was currently serving as the District and sessions judge of the Rouse Avenue Court.
