On Tuesday, Former member of the Law Commission of India and Professor of Law at Delhi University Prof Mool Chand Sharma passed away after being in the ICU for five days.

Prof Sharma is also the founder Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Haryana and was Dean, School of Law at BML Munjal University, Gurgaon.

In his grateful Career, honourable Prof has served in various positions including as the Vice-Chairperson of the University Grants Commission (UGC); Director of the National Law Institute University, Bhopal; Senior Research Advisor at the National Human Rights Commission; Expert Legal Advisor for the Law Commission of India and Joint Registrar of Research at the Supreme Court of India.

Talking about his acdemics, Prof Mool Chand held a Doctorate of Juridical Science (SJD) from North-Western University Law School, Chicago and was a Senior Fulbright Scholar.
