National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi), established in the year 2008 with the initiative of the High Court of Delhi and the Govt. of NCT of Delhi, is a premier Law University in the country. Eligibility

  • M. with specialisation in Constitutional Law from a recognised Indian or foreign university with minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever a grading system is followed), and a good academic record.
  • NET/ M.Phil./ Ph.D. and at least 2 years of research experience.
  • Demonstrable research track record in Constitutional Law, SDGs, Gerontology, Smart Cities, Digital Public Infrastructure, and other allied areas/themes.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with quantitative and/or qualitative research methods, ability to assist in literature review, instrument development, data collection, data analysis, and report writing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Data analysis tools.
  • Prior experience in research projects.
  • Proficiency in academic writing and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet timelines.

Responsibilities

The Research Associate will be expected to:

  • Assist in research, review, and analysis of statutes, policies, guidelines, regulatory frameworks, and other available literature on the core and allied areas of the Project.
  • Conduct doctrinal, empirical, and comparative research (including literature review, case/document analysis, and data-driven inquiries).
  • Support the drafting of research outputs, including reports, briefs, research papers, and internal working papers.
  • Coordinate with project investigators and external consultants where required.

Emoluments

Nature of Appointment

Contractual for Six Months (further extendable subject to project requirements and performance).
