May 02, 2019:
On Wednesday, Election Commission late shot off a show-cause notice to Congress president Rahul Gandhi for saying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had made a new law that amounted to shooting down tribals.
Gandhi has been given 48 hours to explain himself.
The commission said it had examined the video and transcript of the April 23 speech.
