On Thursday, the Delhi High Court has notified all the Members of the Bar and the litigants that physical filing of non-urgent/ordinary matters has now been permitted with the stipulation that all such matters shall be taken up for hearing only after the normal functioning of this Court is resumed.

Filing of such mattesr shall be accepted by the respective filing counters during the court-hours on all working days.

The Concerned Authority also added that since the Counters of the Stock Holding Corporation of India (SCHIL) have now become functional in the premises of Delhi High Court, it be ensured by all concerned that the requisite court fees is affixed/submitted while filing the matters, physically or through e-filing module.

Henceforth, the Registry shall not accept or list cases, whether urgent or non-urgent, without payment of the requisite court fees.

All the concerned advocates/litigants-in-person, who had filed cases (urgent/non-urgent) on or after 25.03.2020 without court fees or with deficit court fees have also been requested to procure requisite court fees for all such pending/disposed of cases and to submit the same at the respective filing counters within 15 days.

The Court shall issue appropriate orders/directions on failure of the above isntrictions.
