The Law Ministry informed Rajya Sabha that 24,426 cases are pending in Supreme Court for more than 5 years old. The data furnished the number of pending cases for more than 5, 10, 20, 30, 50 or more than 50 years old in Supreme Court of India which is as mentioned below:

He replied to an Unstarred Question regarding the year-wise number of cases that came in the Supreme Court during the last five years, the number of cases that were decided during this period
The Law Minister clarified that the Central Government is fully committed to speedy disposal of cases in accordance with Article 21 of the Constitution and reducing pendency.
