The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested an Inspector/SHO, a Head Constable & a Constable all posted at Police Station Kalindi Kunj, Delhi in a bribery case.

A case was registered, on a complaint against an Inspector/SHO, Police Station Kalindi Kunj, Delhi; a Head Constable and other unknown person. It was alleged that the Inspector/SHO has demanded bribe of about Rs.39,000/- through Head Constable from  the Complainant. It was further alleged that the accused demanded bribe @ Rs.500/- per Square Yard for allowing the construction of boundary wall of plot area measuring around 132 Square Yards at Madanpur Khadar Extension Part-3, Delhi under the jurisdiction of Kalindi Kunj Police Station. It was also alleged that the accused   reduced the demand to Rs.300/- per Square Yard (about Rs. 39,000/-).

CBI laid a trap and caught the Constable who received the bribe amount of Rs.39,000/- in the presence of Head Constable from the complainant. Both the  Inspector/SHO and Head Constable were also caught.

Searches were conducted at the official & residential premises of arrested personnel.

All the arrested accused will be produced before the Competent Court at Delhi.
