The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 1st September, 2021 has approved the proposal for elevation of the following Advocates as Judges in the Punjab & Haryana High Court:
1. Shri Vikas Suri,
2. Shri Vinod Sharma (Bhardwaj),
3. Shri Pankaj Jain, and
4. Shri Jasjit Singh Bedi.
The Punjab & Haryana High Court has a sanctioned strength of 85 Judges (64 Permanent Judges and 21 Additional Judges) which is the common High Court for the states of Punjab and Haryana and the Union Territory of Chandigarh, and is based in Chandigarh.
