The President of India has appointed Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava, senior-most Judge of the Rajasthan High Court as Acting Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court.

The notification issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice has notified that “In exercise of the power conferred by Article 223 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint, Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava, senior-most Judge of the Rajasthan High Court, to perform the duties of the office of the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court, with effect from 02.08.2022 consequent upon the retirement of Shri Justice Shinde Sambhaji Shiwaji, Chief Justice, Rajasthan High Court.”

Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava was born on 6th March, 1964 at Bilaspur. He did his schooling at Bilaspur, graduation (B.Sc.) from CMD College, Bilaspur and LL.B. with gold medal from K R Law College, Bilaspur. He was member of Board of Studies and Academic Council, Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur. He was enrolled with the Bar Council of M.P., Jabalpur, on 05-10-1987 and practiced at District Court, Raigarh, High Court.
