The President of India has assented to the appointment of 7 new Judges to the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
The notification issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice has notified that “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri (1) Konakanti Sreenivasa Reddy alias Srinivasa Reddy, (2) Gannamaneni Ramakrishna Prasad, (3) Venkateswarlu Nimmagadda, (4) Tarlada Rajasekhar Rao, (5) Satti Subba Reddy, (6) Ravi Cheemalapati, and (7) Smt. Vaddiboyana Sujatha, to be Judges of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, in that order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume charge of theirrespective offices”
The vacancies in Andhra Pradesh High Court will reduced to 10 only after the above notified appointments .
