The Allahabad High Court has issued notification for using Webex, a virtual meeting platform for Court proceedings from 17th January 2022.
The notice issued by Allahabad High Court has notified that,
"In continuation of notice dated 10.01.2022 of the first phase of the roll out and changeover to the new video conferencing platform all the matters before Court Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 16, 20, 28, 29 and 31 (at Lucknow) shall be heard on the WebEx Video conferencing platform w.e.f. 17th January, 2022."
It is further stated that, Learned counsels may please note that for the above courts, no separate application or request for Video Conferencing hearing need be sent. Learned counsels may join as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as and when the matter is called.
