Heard Ms. Sheetal Selwal, learned counsel for the revisionist and Mr. Deepak Bisht, learned DAG for the State.
2. The instant criminal revision has been preferred by the revisionist against the judgment and order dated 25.10.2024 passed by Sessions Judge, Champawat in Criminal Appeal No.20 of 2022 as well as judgment and order dated 01.10.2022 passed by Judicial Magistrate/Civil Judge Tanakpur, District Champawat in Criminal Case No.198 of 2022, whereby the revisionist has been convicted under Sections 457, 380 & 411 IPC and sentenced accordingly.
3. Admit the revision.
4. Also heard on the Bail Application IA No.1/2024.
5. Learned counsel for the revisionist would submit that the revisionist was on bail during trial as well as during the pendency of appeal and she has never misused the liberty of bail granted to her.
6. Learned counsel for the State does not dispute the above submission.
7. Having considered the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, bail application is allowed.
8. Let the revisionist be released on bail during the pendency of the Revision on his executing personal bond and furnishing two reliable sureties each of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Court concerned and the penalty which has been imposed upon him by the learned trial Court against the revisionist, shall also remain stayed.
9. List this matter on 23.06.2025.
