1. Mr. Ajay Joshi, learned counsel holding brief of Mr. Rajat Mittal, learned counsel for the appellant.
2. Mr. Sandeep Sharma, learned Brief Holder for the State.
3. As per the office report, appeal is well within time.
4. Admit the appeal.
5. Summon the trial court record.
6. The instant appeal has been preferred by the appellant (convict) against the judgment and order dated 18.01.2025 passed by learned Special Judge, NDPS Act, Dehradun in Special Sessions Trial No. 69 of 2018 whereby appellant has been convicted and sentenced to undergo 01 year rigorous imprisonment with the fine of Rs. 20,000/- for the offence punishable under Section 20 (B) of the NDPS Act and while convicting the appellant, the trial court by order dated 18.01.2025 granted interim bail to the appellant for a period of one month.
7. Let objection to the regular bail application be filed by the State by disclosing the fact whether appellant has any previous criminal history within two weeks.
8. List on 05.03.2025.
9. In the meantime, interim bail granted by the trial shall continue till the next date.
