5. In WPMS No.1736 of 2019, it is prayed to quash and set aside the judgment and order dated 31.01.2019 passed by the D.D.C. Udham Singh Nagar (contained in Annexure No.8 to this writ petition) only to the extent of liberty granted to the respondents no.5, 6 and 7 to file the restoration application against the judgment and order dated 01.02.2001 passed by the Consolidation Officer, Kichha passed in Case No.615 of 2000-2001 and non- effect of the observation made by the court of D.D.C. Uhdam Singh Nagar and the restoration application dated 13.02.2019 pending before the Court of Consolidation Officer, Kichha (Annexure 11).

In WPMS No.1724 of 2019, the prayer is to issue a writ of certiorari quashing/setting aside the impugned orders dated 26.08.2013 and 31.01.2019 (contained as annexure nos.9 & 13 to this writ petition respectively) passed by learned Deputy Director of Consolidation/ Additional Collector (Administration) Udham Singh Nagar.
7. The parties to the lis involved in these two petitions are closely related. During the pendency of the aforesaid two petitions, two compromises have been entered into between the parties and those compromises have been filed by the petitioners in both cases alongwith Miscellaneous Application IA No.8184 of 2025 in WPMS No.1736 of 2019 and IA No.11619 of 2025 in WPMS No.1724 of 2019.
8. According to the compromise arrived at between the parties in both these writ petitions, the parties have decided their respective shares with respect to the land in dispute in these writ petitions.
9. Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem to the fact that the writ petitions may be disposed of in terms of the compromise arrived at between the parties.
10. I have perused the compromise filed in both the writ petitions. This is a family dispute and if the parties have entered into compromise, then the Court should not come in way for deciding the matter in the light of the compromise.
11. Accordingly, both the writ petitions are disposed of in terms of the compromise dated 27.11.2025 in WPMS No.1736 of 2019 and compromise dated 02.12.2025 in WPMS No.1724 of 2019. Both the compromises shall form part of this order.
12. As a result, the judgment and order dated 31.01.2019 passed by DDC, U.S. Nagar and judgment and order dated 01.02.2001 passed by the Consolidation Officer Kichha in Case No.615 of 2000-2001, which are
under challenge in WPMS No.1736 of 2019 are set aside.
13. Similarly, orders dated 26.08.2013 and 31.01.2019 passed by the DDC/Addl. Collector (Admin.) U.S. Nagar, which is under challenge in WPMS No.1724 of 2019 are set aside.
14. The Consolidation Officer, Kichha, District Udham Singh Nagar shall correct the revenue record on the basis of the compromise entered into between the parties.
