Petitioner has been denied character certificate by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Pithoragarh. The petitioner is aggrieved by it.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the controversy is squarely covered by the judgment dated 27.05.2024 passed by this Hon'ble Court in the case of Krishna Pal Singh Chauhan v. District Magistrate Haridwar and others, 2014 SCC OnLine Utt 1073.

Learned State Counsel admits this fact.

Since, the matter is covered, instant petition is decided in terms of the judgment dated 27.05.2024 passed in the case of Krishna Pal Singh Chauhan v. District Magistrate Haridwar and others, 2014 SCC OnLine Utt 1073.
