JUDGMENT:(per Hon'ble The Chief Justice Sri Vipin Sanghi)

Issue notice. Learned counsel appears and accepts

notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. The limited grievance raised by the petitioner in the

present writ petition is to seek a direction to respondent

nos.1 and 2 to consider his case for transfer to a sugam area.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he has been

posted in remote areas as Principal, Government Degree

College for 26 years of his service. That being the position, he

could no longer be posted in a durgam area. Yet, he was

lastly posted as Principal at Government Degree College,

Bhikiyasain, Almora, which is again a posting in durgam area,

in the year 2021.

4. We dispose of this writ petition with a direction to

respondent nos.1 and 2 to look into the grievance of the

petitioner, and to pass a reasoned order within the next four

weeks, on the basis of which, he next posting shall be made.

5. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
