This Criminal Appeal has been filed by the appellant against the judgment dated 24.03.2022/26.03.2022, passed by the District and Sessions Judge/Special Sessions Judge (POCSO), Bageshwar in Special Sessions Trial No.08 of 2021, "State of Uttarakhand vs. Khushal Singh", whereby, the appellant- Khushal Singh has been convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of three years for the offence punishable under Section 354A of IPC; he has been convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of three years along with a fine of Rs.5,000/- for the offence punishable under Section 354D of IPC, and, in default of payment of fine, the appellant has been directed to undergo further additional imprisonment for a period of six months; he has been convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of seven years along with a fine of Rs.5,000/- for the offence under Section 376 read with Section 511 of IPC, and, in default of payment of fine, he has been directed to undergo further additional imprisonment for a period of six months; he has been convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of two years for the offence punishable under Section 504 of IPC, and, he has been further convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of seven years along with a fine of Rs.5,000/- for the offence under Section 9(m)/10 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, and, in default of payment of fine, he has been directed to undergo further additional imprisonment for a period of six months. All the sentences under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code are directed to run concurrently.

Heard Mr. Piyush Garg, the learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. Lalit Miglani, the learned A.G.A. for the State.
