This Appeal from Order, which arises out of a judgment and award, as rendered by the learned Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal on 26.08.2021, in MACP Case No. 388 of 2018, Smt. Poonam and others Vs. Nyaz Ahmed and others, had been decided by the National Lok Adalat, vide its judgment dated 11.12.2021, whereby, the Insurance Company has taken the responsibility for the remittance of the amount.

Today, the matter is listed on an application, submitted by the appellant that the statutory amount, which has been deposited by the appellant before this Court under the provisions of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, that may be directed to be remitted to the appellant.

Considering the application and the grounds taken therein, the Registry of this Court is directed to remit the amount of Rs. 25,000/-, which is a statutory amount deposited by the appellant at the time of filing of the Appeal. The same would be remitted to the appellant within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Money Withdrawal Application (MCC/3/2022) would stand disposed of.
