                          JUDGMENT

Since common questions of law and facts are involved in these writ petitions, therefore they are heard together and are being decided by a common judgment. However for sake of brevity, facts of Writ Petition (S/S) No.431 of 2020 are being considered and discussed.

2. Petitioners were appointed on the post of Scaler in Uttarakhand Forest Development Corporation. Some of them are still in service while others have retired.

3. Grievance of the petitioners is that recommendation made by 6th and 7th Pay Commission have been implemented in respect of employees of Uttarakhand Forest Development

Corporation however petitioners have been denied benefit of arrears of 6th and 7th Pay Commission.

4. A supplementary-affidavit has been filed by the petitioners, in which, it is stated that other similarly situate persons serving as Scaler have been granted benefit of arrears also, which accrued on account of pay revision based on 6th and 7th Pay Commission report.

5.        Having     regard    to     the     facts     and
circumstances   of   the   case,    writ    petitions   are

disposed of with liberty to petitioners to approach the Managing Director of the Corporation by making a representation. If petitioners make representation within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken by Managing Director, within six weeks thereafter.

6. All pending applications are accordingly disposed of.
