1. Petitioners participated in a selection for the post of Forester conducted by Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission. They are sanguine that they would be successful in the selection, by virtue of their performance.

Mr. Pankaj Purohit, learned counsel appearing for the Selecting Body has apprised the Court that 316 vacancies on the post of Forester were advertised in December, 2019 and now selection process is about to be concluded. He further submits that the Agency, which conducted online examination, namely, "NSEIT", pointed out in its report that answering pattern of eight candidates, including the petitioners was abnormal, therefore, their case is under scrutiny, therefore, their result has been withheld and eight vacancies have been kept apart for those candidates, till completion of the ongoing enquiry.
4. Having regard to the submission made by Mr. Pankaj Purohit, learned counsel for respondent no. 1, the writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the Selecting Body (respondent no. 1) to have the ongoing scrutiny/enquiry concluded as early as possible, but not later than four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
