                                  JUDGMENT

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. Petitioner was appointed as clerk in G.B. Pant University of Agricultural and Technology. His services were terminated by the Vice Chancellor, vide order dated 11.10.2021. He challenged the termination order in Writ Petition (S/S) No. 1384 of 2021, which was dismissed on the ground that remedy of appeal is available to him. Consequently he has filed an appeal under Section 23 of the U.P. Krishi Evam Prodyogik Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 1958. The said appeal was filed on 10.11.2021.

3. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought a direction to the Appellate Authority to expedite hearing of the appeal.

4. Having regard to the fact that petitioner is out of employment since last six months, writ petition is disposed of with a request to the Appellate Authority to decide pending appeal of the petitioner, as early as possible, preferably within six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
