Heard learned counsel for the parties.

A Division Bench of this Court issued certain directions vide order dated 08.11.2016 passed in WPPIL No. 39 of 2015. Alleging non-compliance of those directions, this contempt petition has been filed.

A response affidavit has been filed by Mr. Anand Bardhan, Additional Chief Secretary Home, State of Uttarakhand. In paragraph no. 6 of the said affidavit, it has been stated that directions contained in Clause Nos. B, C & E of the said judgment have already been complied with, however, as regards directions contained in Clause Nos. A & B, it has been stated that the State Government is in process of making compliance of those directions also.

At the request of learned Standing Counsel, list this matter on 09.11.2021, on which day, learned Standing Counsel shall apprise the Court about the progress made in the matter.
