                      JUDGMENT

Mr. Yogendra Sharma, Project Director, National Highways Authority of India, Udham Singh Nagar has filed a reply affidavit. In paragraph no. 9 of the said affidavit, it has been stated that work of construction of Gadarpur Bypass would be completed within eight months from the date of signing of settlement agreement.

2. Since the settlement agreement was executed on 02.06.2021, therefore, the period of eight months would expire on 02.02.2022.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is satisfied with the statement made in paragraph no. 9 of the said affidavit.

4. In such view of the matter, the contempt petition is closed. Contempt notices issued to the respondents are hereby discharged.
