WPSS No. 806 of 2021
Hon'ble Sharad Kumar Sharma, J.
(Via Video Conferencing) Dr. Udyog Shukla, Advocate, for the petitioners.
Mr. P.C. Bisht, Addl. CSC, for the State. The issue, which has been agitated by the petitioners in the present writ petition as against the Government Order No. 1503/111(1)/2020-131 (adhi) 2006 dated 08.09.2020, where the requisitions have been made for filling up the posts of junior engineers, has been put to challenge on the ground that the petitioners had been working as junior engineers on contractual basis and hence their claim for regularisation and the grant of 'equal pay for equal work' requires to be considered by the respondents.
This issue has been quite elaborately dealt by this Court in Writ Petition (S/S) No. 683 of 2021, Siddarth Ranghar Vs. State of Uttarakhand as decided on 23.06.2021. Even yesterday also, this Court has disposed of two writ petitions being WPSS No. 799 of 2021 and WPSS No. 800 of 2021, on the basis of the earlier judgment dated 23.06.2021.
In view of the aforesaid undisputed fact that the matter stands covered by the judgment dated 23.06.2021, rendered in WPSS No. 683 of 2021, Siddarth Ranghar Vs. State of Uttarakhand, this writ petition too would stand disposed of under the same terms and conditions as it has been directed in the judgment dated 23.06.2021.
In view of above, the writ petition stands disposed of.
