                                  JUDGMENT

Petitioner is the plaintiff in a Suit No. 373 of 2020, Smt. Monika vs. Udit Gupta, which she has instituted under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, before the Court of Additional Judge, Family Court, Roorkee, District Haridwar, seeking a decree for dissolution of marriage dated 28th April, 2017. Though, the same has been instituted quite recently, i.e. only on 23rd September, 2020, but, since there is a legislative mandate contained under Section 21 (B) of the Hindu Marriage Act, that the proceedings which are instituted under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, has to be decided, as expeditiously as possible, this writ petition is disposed of with the request to the Additional Judge, Family Court, Roorkee, District Haridwar, to decide the aforesaid Case No. 373 of 2020, Smt. Monika vs. Udit Gupta, as expeditiously as possible, but not later than the period prescribed under Section 21 (B) of the Hindu Marriage Act.

2. Writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.

3. Pending applications also stand disposed of.
