                                      JUDGEMENT

Petitioners seek the following reliefs:

" (i) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to forthwith grant the Selection Grade of Pay (Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/-) to the petitioners from due date, details whereof is given in para 4 of the writ petition), along with arrears of the same.

(ii) To issue any other suitable writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

(iii) To award the cost of the writ petition in favour of the petitioners.

2. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the dispute does not require any new adjudication because it is squarely covered by the judgment and order dated 11th April, 2017, passed in WPSS No. 602 of 2014 and connected mattes, by this Court,

which has been confirmed in Special Appeal as well as by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

4. This fact is admitted by the State.

5. Since controversy has already been settled, the instant petition is decided in terms of the order dated 11th April, 2017 passed in WPSS No. 602 of 2014, and other connected matters.
