JUDGMENT
In the contempt petition, it is alleged that the judgment dated 23.12.2015 rendered by this Court in WPMS No. 2932 of 2015 has been violated. The direction issued by the said judgment was in respect of Financial Year 2015-16 that minimum brand-wise stock of Foreign Liquor shall be maintained at all times by respondents 1 to 3.
2. In para 2 & 4 of the response affidavit filed by Dharam Veer Singh, Additional Excise Commissioner (Licensing), Uttarakhand, it has been stated that brand-wise stock of Foreign Liquor has been maintained and the judgment, passed by writ court, has been complied with in its letter and spirit.
3. In view of the statement so made in the response affidavit, this Court is satisfied that it is not a case of wilful disobedience of the order.
4. Accordingly, contempt petition is dismissed. Notices issued to the respondents are hereby discharged.
