                        JUDGMENT

Writ Petition (S/S) No. 1569 of 2015 filed by the petitioner was disposed of by Writ Court vide order dated 03.08.2015 with the following directions:

"In the given facts and circumstances, respondent no.2 is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner, with all the facts available in the character roll dossier, at the earliest but not later than three weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority.

2. Learned Standing Counsel has made a statement at the bar that petitioner has been promoted to the post of Senior Management Officer vide order dated 30.09.2015, copy whereof has been supplied by him in the Court today, which is taken on record.

3. Since the only grievance of the petitioner was regarding withholding of his promotion to the post of Senior Management Officer and such promotion has been given to the petitioner, as informed by learned Standing Counsel, therefore, the order passed by Writ Court stands complied with.

4. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed.

5. Contempt notice issued to the respondent is hereby discharged.
