This Jail appeal has been filed by the appellant- accused through Superintendent of District Jail, Almora against judgment and order dated 15.01.2021/18.01.2021 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bageshwar in Sessions Trial No. 7 of 2020" State vs. Hemant Singh Karayat", whereby the appellant-Hemant Singh Karayat has been convicted and sentenced to undergo five years rigorous imprisonment along with a fine of Rs. 10,000/- for the offence punishable under Section 307 of I.P.C. with default imprisonment.

Heard Mr. J.S. Virk, learned Deputy Advocate General assisted by Ms. Shivangi Gangwar, learned Brief Holder for the State/respondent.
