JUDGMENT
According to the petitioner, he pursued three years diploma course in General Nursing & Midwifery from Florence Nightangle School of Nursing & Para Medical Sciences, Shahjahanpur. It is further the case of the petitioner that the aforesaid institution is recognized by U.P. State Medical Faculty. Since Uttarakhand Nurses & Midwives Council is not registering the diploma of the petitioner, therefore, petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the Competent Authority to register his diploma within some stipulated time frame.
2. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court thinks that ends of justice would be met, if petitioner is permitted to make application to Competent Authority, which shall be decided within some specified time frame.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make an application for registration of his diploma to Competent Authority in Uttarakhand Nurses & Midwives Council, within three weeks from today. If such an application is made within the stipulated period, the Competent Authority shall consider petitioner's claim and take appropriate decision, in accordance with law, within four months' from the date of receipt of application alongwith certified copy of the order.
