JUDGMENT
1. Mr. Abhijay Negi, learned counsel appearing for the opposite party has produced in Court orders dated 25.09.2018 and 01.04.2019 passed by Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP (Civil) No. 18848-18867 of 2018. The same are taken on record.
2. By the first order, certain directions were issued to the State of Uttarakhand, and in the subsequent order, Hon'ble Apex Court recorded its
satisfaction that the directions issued in the earlier order have been complied with.
3. From perusal of order dated 25.09.2018 passed by Hon'ble Supreme Court, it is apparent that the direction issued by Division Bench of this Court were modified, and from perusal of order dated 01.04.2019, it is apparent that Hon'ble Supreme Court was satisfied that the modified directions have been complied with.
4. In such view of the matter, no useful purpose would be served in keeping these contempt petitions pending.
5. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed. Notice issued to the opposite party is hereby discharged.
