                        JUDGMENT

Petitioner pursued LL.B. Course from D.A.V. (P.G.) College, Dehradun. The said college is affiliated to H.N.B. Garhwal University.

2. According to petitioner, she has successfully completed LL.B. Course; however, her LL.B. degree is not being issued. Another grievance of the petitioner in the writ petition is that she is not being issued mark-sheets for the 3rd and 4th semester examination of LL.B. Course.

3. Today, learned counsel for the petitioner has apprised the Court that final LL.B. degree has now been issued and petitioner has received the same yesterday i.e. on 07.04.2021 only. He, therefore, submits that prayer no. 2 does not survive any more.

4. Learned counsel for petitioner confines his prayer and submits that direction be issued to University to issue mark-sheets for 3rd and 4th semester examination also, as the petitioner has now been declared to have successfully completed the LL.B. Course.

5. Since provisional as well as final LL.B. degree has been issued to the petitioner, therefore, University cannot withhold mark-sheets for the 3rd and 4th semester of the petitioner.

6. In such view of the matter, writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent no. 1 to issue mark-sheets for 3rd and 4th semester examination to the petitioner, as early as possible, but not later than three weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
