Learned Senior Counsel, Mr. P. Roy Barman assisted by
Learned Counsel, Sangita Ruhi Das, Learned Counsel, Ms. Pragya
Saha, and Learned Counsel, Ms. Aradhita Debbarma, is present on
behalf of the petitioners.
Learned Addl. G.A., Mr. M. Debbarma appeared on behalf of
the respondents and produced before the Court a Note forwarded
by the Office of Chief Engineer, PWD (WR), Kunjaban, Agartala.
I have perused the same.
It appears from the Note that the respondent department is
willing to pay the wages but as according to them the petitioners
were reluctant to put their signatures in the respective forms so
their payment could not be made. But the Learned Senior Counsel
denied the said fact. However, the matter is subjudiced and it is
on record that since September, 2025 the wages of the petitioners
have not yet been paid or released by the department.
In view of the same, the respective department is asked to
release the payment from the month of September, 2025 onwards
in favour of the petitioners and the same shall continue till
disposal of this writ petition.
A copy of this order be communicated to Learned Addl. G.A.,
Mr. M. Debbarma in course of the day for information and
compliance.
It was further fairly submitted by Learned Senior Counsel for
the petitioners that the petitioners shall put their signatures as
they put earlier.
With this observation, this I.A. stands disposed of.
