Heard Mr. B. Majumder, learned Deputy SGI appearing for the applicant as well as Mr. S. Saha, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.2 Issue notice to the un-served respondent to show cause as to why the delay of 618 days in preferring the connected appeal should not be condoned as prayed for and such further order(s) or other order(s) should not be passed as this Court may seem fit and proper.
Steps to be taken as expeditiously as possible. Registry to serve notice upon the respondent and file proof of service as per procedure. Learned counsel for the applicant is also at liberty to take out personal notice on the respondent by way of RPAD or 'dasti' service and file proof of service.
Registry is directed to furnish the copy of process of 'dasti' service during the course of the day.
