Heard Mr. P.K. Biswas, Learned Senior Counsel assisted by

Mr. P. Biswas, Learned counsel appearing or the applicants as well as

Mr. B. Majumder, Learned DSGI appearing for the respondent No.1.

This is an application under Section 151 of CPC for

releasing of the award money in favour of the applicants.

From the record, it appears that the requiring department

as per order dated 24.06.2022 has deposited an amount of

Rs.16,53,948/- to the Registry of the High Court in connection with

Case No.L.A.App.No.17 of 2022 and in the meantime, by the judgment

and order dated 18.01.2023 the appeal has been dismissed by the

High Court affirming the judgment and award dated 07.10.2021

passed in connection with Misc. L.A.No.226 of 2014 by L.A. Judge and

as per award, the requiring department has deposited the award to the

Registry of the High Court.

In pursuance of the judgment, no further appeal has been

preferred. So, the payment may be disbursed in favour of the

claimant-petitioners as per award either directly or through their

attorney.

Mr. B. Majumder, Learned DSGI appearing for the

respondent No.1 did not raise any objection with regard to the

disbursal of the awarded amount.

With this observation, the I.A. stands disposed of.

A copy of this order be communicated to Registrar

General, High Court of Tripura for information and compliance

immediately. Registrar General, High Court of Tripura be asked to

disburse the whole amount after observing all formalities and Learned

Senior Counsel for the applicants be informed accordingly.
