This present application has been filed under Section 5

of the Limitation Act for condonation of delay of 228 days in filing the

appeal under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 in

connection with Judgment and Award dated 11.05.2022 passed by the

learned Land Acquisition Judge, West Tripura, Agartala in Case No.

Misc.(LA)268 of 2016.

When the matter is called, heard Mr. P. Majumder,

learned counsel appearing for the applicant as well as Mr. A. Acharjee,

learned counsel appearing for respondent-L.A. Collector.

Despite proper service of notice and opportunity being

given, there is no representation on behalf of unofficial respondent

No.1.

For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit

appended in this instant condone delay application, this present

interlocutory application stands allowed and the delay stands

condoned.
