None appears for the petitioners.
It appears from the record that the petitioners have challenged the judgment and order dated 30.11.2017 passed by the learned Sessions Judge in Criminal Appeal No. 29 of 2015 where by their conviction and sentence was upheld. After admission of the case, LC Record has already been received. The petitioners appointed Mr.A.Dey, learned counsel to conduct their case. But the case is being repeatedly adjourned for non appearance of petitioners' advocate. The case is pending from 2018. It is therefore, necessary to decide the matter at the earliest.
In view of the above, Mr. Samar Das, Adv. is appointed to conduct the case on behalf the petitioners as a legal aid counsel. He will be entitled to fees at the rate admissible to legal aid counsel and such fees shall be paid by the High Court Legal Services Committee and copy of order be supplied to Mr.S.Das.
The order shall also be communicated to Secretary, HCLSC.
Let the matter be listed on 19.02.2021. Copy of the revision petition along with the documents available on record be also supplied to Mr.S.Das from the Registry.
