Author: K. Lakshman
Bench: K. Lakshman
IN THE HIGH COURT FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA
                AT: HYDERABAD
            HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K. LAKSHMAN
              CONTEMPT CASE No.1105 OF 2025

                         DATE: 16-04-2026
Between:
Mr. Anna Rajesham .. Petitioner
                                  Vs.
Mr. Rizwanbasha Shaik, IAS .. Respondent

      This Court made the following:

ORDER (ORAL):

None appears for the petitioner.

2. This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful and deliberate

violation of order dated 10.06.2024 in W.P. No.14287 of 2024.

3. Vide the aforesaid order, this Court disposed of the writ

petition, setting aside the impugned rejection of the respondent and

remanded the matter back to the respondent with a direction to

consider the online application dated 11.11.2023 afresh and pass

appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of

eight (08) weeks.

4. According to the petitioner, the same was not complied with.

5. Whereas, the respondent has filed counter contending that in

compliance with the order under contempt, he has passed order dated

05.06.2025, rejecting the request made by the petitioner to delete the

subject property from the list of prohibitory properties. He has passed

reasoned order. Though the said counter was filed on 12.09.2025, the

petitioner has not filed any reply adverting to the same. There is no

representation on behalf of the petitioner.

6. In the light of the above discussion, this Court is of the

considered view that there is no violation, much less willful and

deliberate violation of the order under contempt. Therefore, this

contempt case is liable to be closed.

7. This Contempt Case is accordingly closed. However, liberty

is granted to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings dated

05.06.2025. In the circumstances of the case, there shall be no order

as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in

the Contempt Case shall stand closed.
