Learned counsel for the petitioners wants to withdraw this

criminal writ petition as he has instructions to approach the Nodal

Officer/Agency appointed by the State Government in pursuance

[2024:RJ-JP:1904] (2 of 2) [CRLW-2680/2023]

of Circular dated 18.01.2019 issued from the Office of Director

General of Police, Rajasthan for protection of couples who have

solemnized marriage with each other and residing together out of

their free will and volition against the wishes of their family

members.

The criminal writ petition is dismissed accordingly with liberty

as aforesaid.

It goes without saying that if any such approach is made, the

Nodal Officer/Agency shall take the requisite steps in accordance

with law expediently.
