1. Heard.

2. A copy of petition along with annexures has been supplied to

learned Additional Advocate General today itself.

3. Learned counsel for the parties would submit that the issue

raised in this petition is squarely covered by judgment of the

Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of The Director (Admn. And

HR) KPTCL & Others Vs. C.P. Mundinamani & Others, 2023

AIR SC 1956 and Union of India & Another Vs. M. Siddaraj

(Civil Appeal No. 3933 of 2023 arising out of Special Leave

[2023:RJ-JP:28790-DB] (2 of 2) [CW-2297/2020]

Petition (C) No. 4722 of 2021 and other connected matters

decided on 19.05.2023).

4. In view of above joint statement of learned counsel for the

parties, we are inclined to dispose off this writ petition on the

same terms and with direction to respondents to consider the

petitioner's claim and pass appropriate order in the light of the

decisions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court as referred to hereinabove

within a period of one month.

5. Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed off.
