1. Learned counsel for the appellant submits that although

application has been preferred by him for disposal of the appeal in

light of the compromise, he has instructions to withdraw the

present appeal. He therefore, seeks permission to withdraw the

present appeal.

2. In view of the submission made, the permission as prayed

for is granted.

3. Accordingly, the present appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.

4. All pending applications, if any, also stand dismissed.
