The present PIL has been filed aggrieved of the fact that

certain private encroachments have been raised on the land

reserved as Gochar land. The petitioners have stated that they

have already moved a representation on 29.12.2021 to the

(2 of 2) [CW-3151/2022]

District Collector, who is the head of the Public Land Protection

Cell ('PLPC'), but no action has been taken on the representation

of the petitioners.

In the facts and circumstances, the present petition is

disposed of with a direction to the District Collector, Sirohi to

decide the representation of the petitioners within a period of six

months from the date of the copy of the judgment being served in

his office. If the Collector finds the private encroachment on the

land, necessary action be taken thereupon.
