1. The present contempt petition has been filed alleging non-
compliance of the order 02.07.2018 passed by this Court.
2. It is informed by learned Additional Advocate General that an
appeal was filed against the said judgment dated 02.07.2018 the
Division Bench vide order dated 18.11.2020 has stayed effect and
operation of the order passed by this Court.
3. In view of the aforesaid, this Court is not inclined to continue
with the present contempt proceedings.
4. Notices of contempt are hereby discharged.

5. The contempt petition stands disposed of for statistical
purposes.
6. Needless to observe that in case the order passed by this
Court in petitioner's writ petition (No.2722/2001) is otherwise
affirmed or decided in petitioner's favour or special appeal filed by
the State Government is rejected, the petitioner shall be free to
file fresh contempt petition in accordance with law.
