Counsel for the petitioner submits that Gram Panchayat

issued the patta in favour of the petitioner in the year 1993 upon

which the petitioner has constructed the house. Counsel further

submits that the Gram Panchayat filed a revision petition before

the District Collector, Ajmer in the year 2012 for cancelling the

said patta after a delay of 19 years. Counsel further submits that

on earlier occasion the petitioner has also filed a civil suit for

permanent injunction before the learned trial court which was

decreed vide order dated 04.03.2008 against the State

Government as well as Gram Panchayat Chhota Lamba (Ajmer).

Counsel further submits that the District Collector, Ajmer vide

order dated 25.05.2017 allowed the revision petition filed on

behalf of the Gram Panchayat and cancelled the said patta

ignoring the judgment and decree passed by the Civil Court.

In that view of the matter, issue notice to the respondent(s),

returnable within four weeks.

Meanwhile, parties are directed to maintain the status quo

with regard to land in dispute.
