1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the learned
Permanent Lok Adalat has proceeded to decide the dispute without
making any effort of conciliation, as is mandatory under Section
22-C of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987.
2. He relies upon judgment of this Court dated 10.04.2018
rendered in case of Popular Carriers Vs. The Chairman, Permanent
Lok Adalat & Ors. (SBCWP No.1433/2006).
3. Matter requires consideration.
4. Issue notice. Issue notice of the stay application also,
returnable within six weeks.

5. Meanwhile, effect and operation of the award dated
06.04.2001 passed by the Permanent Lok Adalat, Sri Ganganagar
shall remain stayed.
